Ammonite fossils are sourced from Madagascar where they are typically found in dry riverbeds and fields where they are collected without disturbing the natural environment.

Deep time studio proudly features vintage and repurposed materials in our work. This means that many pieces show signs of wear from previous lives. These signs are part of the unique journey of each piece through the world and we invite you appreciate these as part of the character of the piece. Deep time watches require little to no maintenance and are built for years of use under normal conditions. They never need to be charged, wound, serviced or set for daylight savings.

Watches can safely be washed in warm water except for leather banded pieces which can be wiped down with a damp cloth or oiled as needed. Avoid prolonged exposure to salt water which can cause some metals to corrode. Avoid storing with sharp or abrasive objects to prevent scratching.
